FOR SURFERS, BY SURFERS

In 2015, Daley Shapes was founded by Grayson Daley at the age of 12. Following in the foot steps of his dad who started surfing at the age of 8. Grayson only to do the same but at the age of 5. Originally a local ding repair service, we have been shaping and glassing all of our own surfboards since 2016.

Focused around Performance and Aesthetics,

We have shaped and glassed over 100 custom surfboards to date and we still continue our ding repair services. This is a home based company for surfers made by surfers.

BASED IN SOUTHBAY

Located in El Segundo, Daley Shapes began as a simple ding repair service for friends and locals.

Our front yard was stacked with used, battered, and broken surfboards so we began repurposing them and reshaping them into new boards. We made our own handboards and surfboards from materials found at home and bought at the local hardware store. We surfed everything we created.

Learning about new board concepts and design, We were shaping and glassing all of our surfboards in a 8'x8' homemade shack throughout 2016-2017. We learned and applied the basics and fell in love with the art of shaping.

We are still based in El Segundo, shaping all of our boards out of a shed twice as big as our last one with twice as much passion. Now since December, 2021 our surfboards are being glassed and sanded professionally by us in a factory.

If you just need your stick fixed we have experience on over 400+ Ding repairs for surfboards as well.

Daley Shapes shapes, glasses, and fixes any of your surfboards

My name is Grayson Daley. I've lived in the South Bay and been surrounded by the surf scene my entire life. I made my first complete surfboard out of my brothers old Al'Merrick with a broken nose that I fixed when I was just 13. I'm 19 years old now, I've shaped 85 and glassed over 100 surfboards to date. I'm always learning and trying new things, whether it's for performance or aesthetics I've always got a new idea I'm thinking about.
